The flowmeter is intended for measurements of gas and liquid flow rates in volumetric or mass units in pipelines having internal diameters of at least 100 mm and 80 mm for liquid media.
The flowmeter can also perform the following functions:
- calculation of gas (liquid) volume or mass;
- measurement of medium temperature;
- measurement of pipeline pressure;
- measurement of current time;
- measurement of gas (liquid) volumes according to GOST 2939-63 (temperature: 293.15 K; pressure 101.325 kPa, humidity: 0) — standard conditions : for a current hour and for a current day;
- display of results of the above measurements on the indicator in respect of each measuring channel;
- exchange of data via interface RS-232;
The principal consumers of the «Cyclone-2M» flowmeters are represented by enterprises involved in production and transportation of gas, oil and oil derivatives, as well as enterprises engaged in metallurgical and chemical production, sinter plants, ecological departments.
The flowmeter can carry out measurements in several pipelines in parallel (from one to sixteen pipelines, depending on order terms).
The «Cyclone-2M» flowmeter is intended for operation in hot and temperate climate areas, under cold North conditions.
The Bi-2M measurement unit is normally used in closed, irregularly heated rooms provided with natural ventilation means. at plus 5 to 50°C, while the flow transducer is used at minus 50 to plus 80°C, operating pressure of the medium measured being up to 32 MPa.
